There are many ways to resolve slow Mac performance. For a quick check of memory problems start by opening Activity Monitor. Pick the processes that are causing the issue and then click to quit. You can click Quit if the program is taking over a lot of memory. You can use the System Memory tab as well to see if there are any processes that run slow in your Mac.
There’s another reason for slowness on your Mac. If you’re running a program that’s using lots of CPU, then you need to stop it.
